Certified Veterinary Technician
I graduated from the Minnesota School of Business. I own two cats named “Luna” and “Spazz”, and one dog, which is a Boxer/Pitbull named “Buddy”. I enjoy playing Texas Hold ‘Em, Dog Grooming and spending time with my friends and family. I really love working with animals and people. I love working with Animal Control, reconnecting animals with their owners and finding homes for the animals that never really had one. I also love working with the doctors and staff, we are a close-knit family, we work well together and help each other. Working with the animals and clients on a daily basis makes me very glad the I chose this field to work in.
I have my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from St. Cloud State University. I have a Shih Tzu named “Tabitha”, and a Terrier mix named “Pendle“. When I am not working I enjoy reading and attending all activities, expos, humane society events, watching movies, or anything involving animals. This job is interesting because of the variety of work - from talking with people about their pets to doing lab work, taking radiographs and of course working with the dogs and cats themselves. It is a rewarding job because I am working with the clients and their pets and (hopefully) helping enhance the human-animal bond that exists.
I am attending Rasmussen for Information Technology, specifically as a Network Administrator. I have a cat named “Mr. Alfred Hitchcock”, along with two ferrets, “Joseph Franklin” and “Sebastian Allen”. I enjoy arts, crafts, fishing, hiking/walking, camping, baking, and just spending time with my two kids. I have always loved animals, and in my youth, I rescued numerous animals; this is when I knew I wanted to work in the veterinary field. When I began working in the kennels at the Brighton Veterinary Hospital and saw what the technicians did, I knew I wanted to do the same. I was later asked by Dr. Hedges to train as a technician, and a dream had come true for me. Of course, I love working with the animals and always thought that would be the only reward, but after being here over 10 years I realized that the joy of helping our clients is just as rewarding. No other job could bring me the joy, confidence or fulfillment that working here does.

I graduated from the Minnesota School of Business with an A.A.S degree in Veterinary Technology. I like spending time with my three cats, “Spock”, “Miss Mauw” and “Fred”. I also like spending time with my family and friends, listening to music, swimming, outdoor activities, drinking coffee, and taking my husband’s dog (Boscoe) to the dog park. I’ve always had a passion for animals ever since I was a child and always knew I wanted to work with them. I enjoy seeing the different animal-human bonds, and I’m glad that I can make a difference in helping people take proper care of the animals that mean so much to them.

I graduated from Minnesota School of Business Globe college in Blaine. I have one cat named Booda. Outside of work I love spending time with friends and family. The love of animals is what has brought me here today. I love working with the staff at the Brighton Veterinary Hospital and seeing the variety of animals that we get the opportunity to help.
I attended Paragon School of Pet Grooming. The reason I am excited about my position at the Brighton Veterinary Hospital is to gain more hands-on skills in the area of grooming as well as learning to work in a new environment. Since working here, I have loved getting to know the staff, as well as all of the pets I get to work with and meet. I have multiple pets of my own a dog, ferret, and fish. Some of my hobbies outside of work are crocheting and going to the dog park.
